The Michigan Wolverines pulled off an upset against the No. 11 USC Trojans on Saturday afternoon in the Big House. Sherrone Moore earned his first Big Ten victory as head coach of the Wolverines, while handing Lincoln Riley and USC their first Big Ten loss as members of the conference.

Though new starting quarterback Alex Orji threw for just 32 yards on 7 of 12 passing, Kalel Mullings ran for 159 yards and two touchdowns — including the game-winning one with less than a minute left — and Will Johnson returned an interception for a touchdown, his second of the season and his third total as a Wolverine, a new program record.
