Rate Deshaun Watson’s Week 1 performance against the Cowboys

CLEVELAND, Ohio — Deshaun Watson and the Browns had a terrible opening day performance on Sunday, falling to the Cowboys 33-17 at home.

In his first game back from shoulder surgery, Watson did not play well, completing 24 of 45 passes for 169 yards, a touchdown and two interceptions.

Watson and the Browns didn’t reach the end zone until early in the third quarter and they managed just one first down in the first half against Dallas’ stout defense.

Sunday marked Watson’s first live appearance since suffering a broken shoulder against the Ravens on Nov. 12, 2023, which sidelined him for the season.
