Rice caught 12 of 15 targets for 110 yards and a touchdown and added a one-yard run in Sunday’s 22-17 win over the Falcons.

Rice once again served as the clear No. 1 target for Patrick Mahomes, accounting for more than half of Mahomes’ 217 passing yards. After throwing for a 44-yard touchdown last week, Rice and Mahomes combined for a 13-yard touchdown in the second quarter on Sunday, and the wide receiver has posted a gaudy 298 receiving yards in three weeks. Rice briefly suffered a tackle in the third quarter but quickly returned, so he’s unlikely to be physically limited when the Chiefs visit the AFC West rival Chargers in Week 4.
