On Monday, there were multiple reports of PlayStation users experiencing network issues while trying to load the system. Down Detector, a website that tracks such outages, showed an increase in users reporting network outages on Sony’s flagship gaming console.

According to Down Detector, 88% of reports indicated they were having issues with PlayStation servers. While 8% said they experienced problems downloading and 4% said they were unable to load the website.

Several users on social media shared screenshots of the error they encountered while loading PlayStation. Here’s a message:

“I literally just bought a PS5 and the PlayStation servers are offline,” said one user, along with a photo of the TV screen showing the error message.
