Playboi Carti Releases New Song “All Red” Leaving Some Fans Confused

On Friday (September 13), Playboi Carti dropped his new song “All Red” after only a few hours’ notice. Upon first listen, Carti can be heard spitting out bragging bars over a hypnotic, energetic beat with a very low voice. His voice is so low that many fans have said he sounds like Future.

“This ain’t Carti this mf Future,” one fan wrote. “Carti went from sounding like a thug to sounding like a future,” another fan added. “Carti accidentally uploaded a new Future song,” another person said.

It’s true that the voice Carti chose in “All Red” is considerably lower than the high-pitched screams heard on most of his previous albums Very much redLast year, however, he could also be heard experimenting with a lower baritone on Travis Scott’s “Fe!n.”

Playboi Carti announces I am music Bundles

Ahead of the release of “All Red,” Playboi Carti also revealed some merchandise and digital pre-orders on his website for his highly anticipated album I am music. While there is no release date, the album is available for pre-order for $9.99. The merch bundles also include a special edition hoodie, and while there is no shipping date listed, it does say “product will ship no later than six months.” Hopefully this means fans can expect I am music to fall at least within the next six months. Frankly, that could be painful news for Carti fans. Carti first announced I am music back in December 2023 and he’s been hinting about it ever since.
