After a mini-bye, the New England Patriots will play their third road game in four weeks on Sunday afternoon. They travel to the Bay Area for the first time in eight years and take on the San Francisco 49ers in a 1-2 team battle.

Their matchday schedule for the match looks like this:

Patriots game day schedule

Running back (3): Rhamondre Stevenson (38), Antonio Gibson (4), JaMycal Hasty (39 | KR)

The Patriots offensive line will make its fourth appearance in as many weeks on Sunday.

While the right side of the line is quite stable, the left side remains a big question mark. Starting tackle Vederian Lowe is out again, with Caedan Wallace replacing him for the second week in a row. At left guard, New England will finally reintroduce starter Sidy Sow, who missed the first four games with an ankle injury suffered in the preseason.

Questions also exist along the defensive edge. On paper, Joshua Uche is the only player available, meaning the team will have to get creative to replace Anfernee Jennings (inactive/shoulder) and Oshane Ximines (injured reserve/knee). However, there are several likely candidates available.

New England could turn to versatile defensive linemen Keion White and Deathrich Wise Jr. to strike out more often against a talented 49ers ground game. Additionally, off-ball linebackers Jahlani Tavai and Raekwon McMillan have shown they can play on the line as well.

Additionally, the Patriots once again dressed six wide receivers. Cornerback Isaiah Bolden, meanwhile, will make his season debut one day after being signed from the practice squad to the 53-man roster.

Patriot Reserves

Inactives (6): TE Jaheim Bell, ED Anfernee Jennings, G Michael Jordan, DE Jamree Kromah, OT Vederian Lowe, QB Joe Milton III (emergency QB)

Practice squad (13): OL Liam Fornadel, LB Joe Giles-Harris, RB Kevin Harris, C Bryan Hudson, CB DJ James, RB Terrell Jennings, OT Caleb Jones, WR Matt Landers, ED Ochaun Mathis, S Mark Perry, DT Jacquelin Roy, OT Jalen McKenzie, W. John Jiles

Injured reserve (7): OL Jake Andrews, CB Alex Austin, LB Ja’Whaun Bentley, WR JaQuae Jackson, S/LB Marte Mapu (IR-R), DT Armon Watts, ED Oshane Ximines

The list of New England reservations contains few surprises. The aforementioned Anfernee Jennings is the biggest name among the inactives.
