Authorities in Paris hope the excitement surrounding the Olympics continues into the Paralympic Games, which begin today.

“I feel the excitement,” Pierre Rabadan, the vice mayor in charge of sports, said in an interview on Bloomberg TV. “People want to get the party going again and we are ready for that.”
