Packers CB Jaire Alexander intercepts Will Levis for first career pick-six

The first pick-six of his career for Green Bay Packers cornerback Jaire Alexander arrived in Nashville on Sunday against Will Levis and the Tennessee Titans.

Late in the first quarter, Alexander jumped a short pass to DeAndre Hopkins, intercepted the ball for Hopkins and ran 35 yards for the touchdown, giving the Packers a 17-7 lead over the Titans at Nissan Stadium.

The Packers now have six interceptions through nine quarters to start the 2024 season after intercepting just seven passes in 17 games in 2023. Alexander has two of the interceptions to his name — he also intercepted Jalen Hurts in the end zone in Week 1.

Alexander’s pick-six was the first defensive touchdown of the season for Jeff Hafley’s defense and the first for the Packers since Jonathan Owens’ fumble return for a touchdown against the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving Day last year.

Alexander now has 12 regular season interceptions in his career. His career high for interceptions in a season is five.
