After defeat to Osasuna, Barcelona will look to get back to winning ways when they take on Deportivo Alaves this afternoon.

Barcelona have already announced the starting XI that will face Alaves, with a few changes from the side that lost to Osasuna.

Notably, Hector Fort replaces Jules Kounde at the right-back position – a move likely intended to give the Frenchman a much-needed breather.

The rest of the back line remains largely the same, with Inigo Martinez and Pau Cubarsi forming the central defensive duo, with Alejandro Balde at left back.

Inaki Pena remains in goal, with Ander Astralaga as backup. New signing Wojciech Szczesny is not yet ready to play for Barcelona.

In midfield, Hansi Flick has opted to deploy Raphinha in a number ten role, with Pedri and Marc Casado operating in deeper roles.

Raphinha starting in attacking midfield has given Flick the opportunity to start with Ferran Torres out wide. The Spaniard has a point to prove as he looks to earn a place in Flick’s lineup this season.
