Nicole Heaviland Nearly Beats Jason Kelce in Arm Wrestling – InspireMore

Since Jason Kelce announced his retirement, he’s had a lot of unexpected fun, including meeting British royalty. With the Olympics in full swing, this sports legend can be found in the stands supporting other athletes. But that doesn’t mean Kelce isn’t finding ways to stay competitive. He even recently got the chance to arm wrestle an Olympian — and you know Jason Kelce is going to take advantage of it!

This friendly match took place after the US women’s rugby team won their match against Brazil. One of their star players, Nicole Heaviland, chose to celebrate by challenging Kelce to a match. Both athletes are incredibly strong, making this an arm wrestling match for the ages. Check it out for yourself in the video below!

“Holding on to that table a little bit?” Heaviland playfully remarks in the caption of her video, to which Kelce responds, “Holding something with your other hand is totally within the rules of the International Federation of Arm Wrestling.”

Although Heavirland lost that battle, it’s clear that she and the team appreciate the support from Kelce and his wife Kylie. Heavirland even suggested that Kelce become the hype man for the rugby team, similar to what Flavor Flav is to the U.S. women’s water polo team… except without the official contract and all the perks that come with it.

Kelce, who was already a huge fan, happily said yes. That said, we can expect him and Kylie to support many American teams at the Paris Olympics. We love seeing athletes supporting each other!

“When we found out we were going to have the opportunity to go (to the Olympics), the more we thought about it, we thought, ‘Let’s take advantage of it now, while we can actually do it,'” Kelce said. “We love sports, we love competition, we love world events.”
