NCAA Division II Volleyball Rankings Week 2

Week 2 of the NCAA Division II volleyball season certainly caused some movement in the polls.

Four teams made the cut: No. 20 Dallas Baptist, No. 21 Angelo State, No. 24 Northern State and No. 25 Point Loma. The four teams eliminated were Michigan Tech, West Florida, Lewis and Regis.

Tampa remains atop the polls, as the team improves to 6-0 to start the season. Formerly No. 2 Wayne State drops to No. 8 after losing two games to Chaminade and Dallas Baptist, which rose from No. 13 to No. 7, respectively, to enter the poll at No. 20.

No. 9 West Texas A&M climbed all the way to No. 3 and even received a handful of first-place votes after playing a whopping four ranked teams, winning three and only losing in the third set to current No. 6 Missouri St. Louis 15-13.

No team seems really safe at the start of the season, as it is full of surprises and movements in the polls. Check out the new rankings below.
