    Nashville comedian Nate Bargatze hosts “SNL.” How to watch, stream

    Live from New York: It’s Nate Bargatze!

    On Sunday night, the Nashville comedian will appear on the “Saturday Night Live” stage as the evening’s host. This is the second time Bargatze has been tapped to share his jokes live from Studio 8H at 30 Rockefeller Plaza.

    Bargatze will appear in the second episode of the comedy show’s 50th season with musical guest Coldplay, who will be appearing on the show for the eighth time.

    Last year, Bargatze made his “SNL” hosting debut on Oct. 28, where he earned praise for the acclaimed sketch “Washington’s Dream” alongside Kenan Thompson, Mikey Day, Bowen Yang and another Nashvillian, James Austin Johnson.

    Maybe his George Washington character will make a reprise on Saturday night.

    Following Bargatze’s “SNL” performance, Ariana Grande will perform on Oct. 12 and Stevie Nicks will appear as musical guest.

    Michael Keaton and Billie Eilish will take the stage next week on October 19. John Mulaney and Chappell Roan will perform on November 2.

    “Saturday Night Live” airs Saturday, October 5 on NBC at 10:30 PM CT.

    Viewers can also stream “SNL” on Peacock, DirecTV Stream, Hulu + Live TV and fuboTV.

    Ahead of his “SNL” guest appearance, Nate Bargatze announces he is writing a book

    On Friday afternoon, Bargatze, who is currently on his nationwide “The Be Funny Tour,” announced he is moving from stage to page.

    “I’m so excited to tell you that I’m writing my first book!” he said on Instagram. “Big Dumb Eyes will be an easy read of a collection of personal stories, opinions and confessions that the whole family can enjoy.”

    “Big Dumb Eyes: Stories From A Simpler Mind” will be available for purchase on May 6, 2025.
