All-time baseball great Pete Rose has reportedly died at the age of 83.

According to a report from TMZ, Rose died at his Las Vegas home on Monday.

Nicknamed “Charlie Hustle” during his playing days, Rose holds the all-time MLB record for most hits, 4,256, and games played at 3,562.

Rose was banned from baseball in the late 1980s for betting on games as a manager for the Cincinnati Reds. Due to the permanent ban, Rose was never inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame, despite his on-field achievements as a player.

FOX 11 calls to confirm the news of Rose’s death.
