    The Missouri State football team’s success at the FCS level begins Saturday when the Bears travel to play one of the best teams in the subdivision.

    Ryan Beard, entering his second year as head coach, will lead the Bears against the Montana Grizzlies, who are fresh off an FCS national runner-up finish. Missouri State will leave the FCS at the end of the year and join Conference USA, making it an FBS program. The Bears will not qualify for the FCS Playoffs this season.
