The comeback kids struck again in Milwaukee on Tuesday. The Brewers took a 2-0 lead after the 1^st inning, but the Mets stormed back to get 3 in the 2^i.e and 5 out of 5^e to win Game 1 of their Wild Card series by a score of 8-4.

Luis Severino was shaky early, but rallied to give the Mets six innings. Freddy Peralta also struggled early, but never got on the court and was pulled after four innings.

Mark Vientos, JD Martinez and Jesse Winker each drove in two runs for the Mets. William Contreras drove in 2 for the Brewers.

Game 2 is scheduled for Wednesday evening.
