The tragic deaths of the Gaudreau brothers become more and more poignant… MatthewThe woman reportedly expects the couple to have their first child within a few months.

According to a online register, Madeline Gaudreau is currently pregnant…and is due on December 31, 2024.

In the registry, the couple asked family and friends for all kinds of items for the newborn, from clothes to dishes, to prepare them for their first parenthood.

Both Matthew and Madeline were in New Jersey this week to help pick up Matthew’s sister, Katiemarried. Both were scheduled to be in the wedding party.

But as we previously reported, the wedding was called off on Friday… after Matthew and his big brother, NHL superstar Johnny Gaudreau, were killed while cycling on a small road in Oldmans Township.

According to authorities, he was hit from behind by a drunk driver around 8:20 p.m. on Thursday. The suspect, 43 years old Sean Higginshas been arrested for his role in the crash and is facing two charges of homicide by car accident.

The Gaudreau family released a statement following the brothers’ passing: “We want everyone to know that we receive your messages of love and support and we appreciate your continued thoughts and prayers.” They added that Johnny and Matthew were “truly two wonderful people.”

Johnny was 31. Matthew was 29.
