Marvel’s ‘Thunderbolts’ Gets 3-Minute Teaser Trailer, Release Date 2025

Marvel Studios has released the teaser trailer for ‘Thunderbolts,’ starring Florence Pugh, Sebastian Stan, David Harbour and other popular actors playing reformed supervillains.

Marvel Studios on Monday unveiled the first teaser trailer for “Thunderbolts” ahead of the film’s May 2, 2025 release.

The upcoming film follows an ensemble cast of reformed supervillains who are recruited to take on missions for the U.S. government, according to IMBD. Actors Florence Pugh, Sebastian Stan, David Harbour, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Hannah John-Kamen and Wyatt Russell will all star in “Thunderbolts.”

The film is directed by Jake Schreier, who also directed the films “Paper Towns,” “Robot & Frank” and six episodes of the Emmy-winning series “Beef.”

The trailer opens with Pugh’s character, Yelena Belova, meeting David Harbour’s character, Alexei Shostakov. Pugh asks Harbour, “Do you feel fulfilled?” Harbour responds, “Why do you ask? What brings you here?”

Then a voiceover from Pugh is heard saying, “There’s something wrong with me… A void… I’m just drifting… And I have no purpose.”

The three-minute-plus trailer shows the lives of all the Thunderbolt members, including the characters played by Sebastian Stan, Wyatt Russell, and Hannah John-Kamen. The members eventually meet, and then the action follows.
