The unique nature of the WNBA playoffs also means that two teams – the New York Liberty and Las Vegas Aces – can secure their spot in the semifinals, as the first round is a best-of-three series. Should the Liberty and Aces win, there will be a rematch in the finals. Meanwhile, the Atlanta Dream and Seattle Storm fight for their seasons and try to complete step one of an unlikely upset.
