Oasis’ official website crashed as it was flooded with fans reacting to the news of the band’s reunion.

Brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher announced on Tuesday, August 27, that they will be performing together for the first time in 16 years, with a series of stadium performances scheduled to take place in 2025.

So far, dates have been announced for London, Manchester, Edinburgh and Dublin, with dates outside Europe also promised.

Tickets go on sale on Saturday 31st August at 9am for the UK shows and at 8am the same day for the Dublin shows.

Their reunion announcement comes just ahead of the 30th anniversary of Sure Maybethe band’s record-breaking debut album. Next year will mark 30 years since the release of their successor, (What’s the story) Morning Glory?, one of the best-selling LPs by a British artist of all time.

After more than a decade of rumors, brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher have (seemingly) healed their long-running rift and are set to reunite on stage for the Oasis Live 25 tour, playing a series of stadium shows in Manchester, London, Edinburgh and Dublin in the summer of 2025.

“I’ve never liked that word FORMER,” Liam, 51, had teased of his status as frontman just hours earlier as he responded to fans who begged him to confirm the news.

The tour includes four nights at Heaton Park in the band’s hometown of Manchester from July 11-20, along with four shows at Wembley Stadium in London from July 25-August 3. Gaps in the band’s tour schedule suggest that more shows could be added at a later date.
