Las Vegas Raiders Unveil Pirate-Themed VIP Tailgate Experience

The Las Vegas Raiders are introducing a new pre-game tailgate contest that ties into the team’s fighting culture.

The tailgate, called “MASQUERAID,” will take place on a 45-foot pirate ship docked outside Allegiant Stadium before every home game. It’s described as a combination of a professional football game, a masquerade, a carnival and a pirate adventure.

According to the Raiders’ website, only 350 guests are allowed at each home game. A game ticket is not required.

Fans who have access to “MASQUERAID” will enjoy unlimited food and beverages, including alcohol; surprise gifts and a treasure hunt; tailgate and carnival games; live music; and access to an on-site concierge. Fans will also have the opportunity to purchase gameday packages, a high-deck DJ booth and a foam pit plank walk.

“The Raiders strive to provide our fans with an unmatched experience at Allegiant Stadium, and this activation will enhance the pre-game festivities for game-day attendees in a unique way,” team president Sandra Douglass Morgan said in a statement.

Fans are invited to sign up for a waiting list. Ticket pre-sale starts on Thursday, September 12. The day after, there will be a public ticket sale.

The Raiders and Allegiant Stadium are partnering with experience provider Confirmed360 to develop “MASQUERAID.”

The Raiders’ first home game is scheduled for Week 3 against Carolina on Sunday, September 22.
