Las Vegas Raiders Insider Podcast Complete coverage of the win over Carolina Panthers

LAS VEGAS, Nev.—No matter how you describe the Las Vegas Raiders’ 36-22 loss to the Carolina Panthers (1-2), you’re simply being unfair if the word embarrassing isn’t part of the description.

The Panthers, widely regarded as one of the worst-run franchises in professional sports, have benched quarterback Bryce Young in favor of veteran Andy Dalton. Despite his considerable success with the Silver and Black, the Raiders should have won this game.

It looked chaotic and outclassed at times, and the talented Raiders team was outclassed and outplayed.

The Raiders’ fearsome defense had no answers, making Andy Dalton and the Panthers’ offense look like the 2007 New England Patriots, led by Tom Brady. The Silver and Blacks’ offense, or lack thereof, made the Panthers look like the 1985 Chicago Bears.

Yes, this loss was so bad.

In the five years I’ve been following this team, I’ve never seen a Raiders team look so bad overall.

Our latest Las Vegas Raiders Insider Podcast gives you a complete breakdown of the loss.

You can watch it below:

The Raider Nation home crowd was one of the best in Allegiant Stadium history. I attended every game, but the atmosphere that Coach Antonio Pierce called for was wasted. Their energy quickly turned to boos from the stands as the Panthers dominated.

On a day that should have ended with a celebration of success, with the Raiders unleashing their demons by stooping to the level of their opponent, the home team ended up in mediocrity.

There are still fourteen games to go, but the Raiders don’t have time to fix their problems.
