Keith Urban has given fans an update on his wife Nicole Kidman, who said she was “heartbroken” when she announced her mother’s unexpected death earlier this month.

“Yeah, everybody’s good, man. Thanks for asking,” the country singer, 56, told the Times in an interview published Friday.

He declined to comment further on the death of his mother-in-law, Janelle.

Kidman, 57, had just arrived at the Venice Film Festival on September 7 when she learned that her mother had died and left early.

Halina Reijn, director of the film “Babygirl,” read a handwritten note from Kidman — who won Best Actress for her role in the film — during her scheduled performance.

“Today I arrived in Venice and shortly after I learned that my beautiful, brave mother Janelle Ann Kidman has just passed away,” the letter read. “I am in shock and need to get home to my family, but this award is for her.”

“She shaped me, she guided me, and she made me,” the “Moulin Rouge” actress continued. “I am beyond grateful to be able to say her name to all of you through Halina.

“The collision of life and art is heartbreaking, and my heart is broken.”

A spokesperson for Kidman also confirmed the news to Page Six, saying, “The family is devastated and ask for privacy at this time.”

On September 13, the Oscar-winning actress and her sister Antonia sent a thank you message to their fans to express their condolences.

“My sister and I, along with our family, would like to thank you for the outpouring of love and kindness we have felt this week,” Kidman wrote alongside vintage photos of their mother.

“Every message we have received from those who loved and admired our Mother has meant more to us than we can ever express.”

It is unclear how Janelle, who was 84, died.

However, Kidman indicated she was struggling with health issues during a January 2022 appearance on NPR’s “Fresh Air” podcast.

“We are here (in Australia) mainly to look after my mother and surround her with her grandchildren,” she said.

“Luckily, despite (COVID-19) Omikron raging through this country, we were able to take her to the gallery after closing time yesterday and show her the Matisse exhibition. Coming from a mother who raised me in the arts, that was a very, very soothing balm.”

In 2020, Kidman said she missed her mother’s 80th birthday due to the pandemic, but was happy to see her again in August of that year.
