    Jessica Pegula beats Iga Swiatek to reach US Open semifinals

    It was only logical that Jessica Pegula qualified for her first Grand Slam semi-final on home soil.

    The sixth-seeded New Yorker would rather take the subway than drive to the US Open, but either way, she will drive back to the Billie Jean National Tennis Center after beating world No. 1 Iga Swiatek 6-2, 6-4 in the Arthur Ashe match on Wednesday night.
