Jenn Tran‘s season of The Bachelorette had a rosy ending – temporarily.

During the final on September 3, the medical assistant student became engaged to the candidate Devin Strader after saying goodbye to number two Marcus Schoberg.

However, Bachelor Nation quickly learned that Jenn and Devin’s relationship status has changed since filming the finale earlier this year. In fact, the two have officially split.

While Devin said he couldn’t “wait to get down on one knee for her,” Jenn revealed in the finale, “I’m not going to make Devin propose today. I’m going to ask Devin to marry me. I just want to make a big gesture.”

But before viewers could see the proposal, Jenn burst into tears. After the last rose and told the truth about their relationship.

“It was a really tough couple of months. We left Hawaii engaged, very happy. It was the happiest day of my life,” she said. “As soon as we left Hawaii, things were just different. It felt like he was pulling away, all those promises he made to me about wanting to move somewhere together and planning this future.”
