The Green Bay Packers regained the lead over the Philadelphia Eagles thanks to a 33-yard touchdown run from Jayden Reed in the second quarter of Friday night’s season opener in Brazil.

Reed took an end-around by moving from left to right and got great blocks from Emanuel Wilson, Josh Myers and Rasheed Walker on his way to the endzone, giving the Packers a 12-7 lead over the Eagles.

The scoring drive traveled 70 yards in just five plays, with Wilson ripping off runs of 14 yards and 18 yards to get the Packers moving.

Reed, a 2023 second-round pick of the Packers, saw a first-quarter touchdown catch negated by off-setting penalties.

As a rookie, Reed scored 10 total touchdowns, including two rushing. His touchdown run on Friday night was his third career rushing score.
