In the hockey match, India and Argentina engaged in a fierce battle on the field with the match in Group B ending in a 1-1 draw.

Rahul Dravid has successfully concluded his stint as India coach

Dravid is a sensational player for India and was known as ‘The Wall’ of Indian cricket. However, he failed to win a single World Cup as a player for Team India. He was present in the 2003 World Cup squad where India qualified for the final but lost to Australia.

He then captained India in the 2007 ODI World Cup in the West Indies. However, his team suffered a humiliating elimination in the group stage of the tournament. Now, he has successfully returned to the West Indies after 17 years, where he lifted the T20 World Cup trophy as the head coach of Team India.

Under Dravid, India qualified for the semi-finals of the 2022 T20 World Cup, the final of the 2023 ICC World Test Championship, the final of the 2023 ODI World Cup and eventually won the 2024 T20 World Cup. The combination of Dravid and Rohit Sharma created a ‘perfect’ team to win the illustrious trophy. Reports suggest that many IPL teams are looking to rope in Dravid before IPL 2025. Rajasthan Royals are looking to bring Dravid on board as the head coach of their team.
