Indiana football won its Week 2 game against Western Illinois in historic fashion.

Kurtis Rourke led the way with 260 passing yards (14 of 16) and 2 touchdowns as IU led Western Illinois at halftime, 42-3. IU went on to win the game, 77-3. The 77 points were the most points scored in a single game in program history.

This one was never close. Tayven Jackson came in for Kurtis Rourke at quarterback and passed for 104 yards (3 of 3) and ran for another 19. Justice Ellison led the way with 117 yards on 9 carries and 2 touchdowns. Elijah Sarratt caught 6 passes for 137 yards and a score. Omar Cooper Jr. had 4 receptions for 131 yards and a touchdown.

Aiden Fisher led the defense with 9 total tackles.
