Israeli forces and Hamas exchange fire after attacks in West Bank

On Saturday, the IDF and terrorists exchanged heavy fire in Jenin in the West Bank, killing about 30 terrorists, Israeli media reported.

According to police, explosions were heard in the al-Damj neighborhood. Marchiv.

A source within the leadership of Hamas’ Al-Qassam Brigades told Qatar’s state media group Al Jazeera that the terror organization had prepared for long days of confrontations and fighting.

“We assure our people that the resistance, with all its formations in the West Bank, is in the best coordination phase,” the source said.

Wall reported that the IDF is increasing the number of troops in the area. According to Arab media, Apache helicopters flew over Jenin.

Wafa, a Palestinian Authority news site, reported that Saturday marked the fourth consecutive day of Israeli activity in Jenin.

Wafa claimed that Palestinians had been shot by Israeli forces, but did not say whether they were armed fighters.

Hamas later reported the death of one of its operatives in the al-Damj neighborhood.

The terrorist, identified by Hamas as Muhammad Abu Al-Talal Harboush, was reportedly killed when he attempted to ambush Israeli personnel in the area.
