Hailee Steinfeld was “in the City of Love with my love.”

The actress and her boyfriend Josh Allen became official on Instagram on July 23 via a message to Allen’s account from Paris, and Steinfeld shared the details of what went down when the two took their romantic getaway. The Marvel star, 27, opened up about her experience and recommendations in her Beau Society newsletter on Thursday.

“What makes Paris Paris is its specificity,” she wrote. “I often think back to my last trip.”

One of the most important tasks during the trip: finding an intimate view of the Eiffel Tower so Allen, 28, could see it for the first time.

“For this trip, I stalked Instagram and TikTok to find the best spot to see the Eiffel Tower at night. It was important to me to find a good spot because it was Josh’s first time seeing it,” she explained. “As if by fate, we had dinner reservations at Gigi’s and the balcony gave us the best view I could imagine. We took all of our photos there.”

The singer and Buffalo Bills star had already hinted at a relationship before their Parisian getaway, with Steinfeld seen wearing Allen’s jersey when the Bills played the Jacksonville Jaguars in London last October.

A few months earlier, Allen was asked if he had heard rumors that he had been seen “kissing his girlfriend.”

“The fact that anyone would care about that still baffles me,” he said on the August 2023 episode of the “Pardon My Take” podcast.

His post about the Eiffel Tower, captioned: “Forward 🤘🏼,” put an end to the rumors.

Steinfeld shared more of her recommendations based on her experience with Allen. It included a trip to the Montmartre neighborhood, where she advises visitors to go without a plan and just see where the cobblestone streets take them.

“But if you happen to see Pink Mamma, come by for lunch. Eat at the bar in front of the kitchen, if you can,” she added.

And of course, no trip to Paris is complete without food — and lots of it. Steinfeld advises visitors to “eat all the chocolate croissants,” and explained how she and Allen go about evaluating them.

“Every morning we would go on a hunt for the perfect chocolate croissant,” she wrote. “We would go to random places and order a chocolate croissant and rate them 1-10.”

Allen and the Bills open the 2024 regular season on Sunday, Sept. 8, at home against the Arizona Cardinals. We’ll see if Steinfeld shows up in her favorite jersey.
