American actor James Earl Jones, best known as the voice actor of Star Wars villain Darth Vader, has died at the age of 93.

In a January 2012 interview with BBC HardTalk, the Oscar winner laughed when host Steven Sackur asked him if he found it annoying to be so closely associated with the Star Wars character.

Jones also talked about discovering his iconic, powerful voice as a teenager, after being unable to speak for much of his childhood due to a stutter.
