    Argentina will face Chile in Buenos Aires on Thursday, qualifying the world champions for the 2026 tournament.

    Argentina and Chile met in the group stage of the Copa América, with Argentina winning 1-0 thanks to a late goal from Lautaro Martínez. That defeat helped Chile exit the group stage.

    There will be one notable absentee for Argentina in this match, with Lionel Messi missing the international break as he continues to recover from an ankle injury.
