The 2024 MTV Video Music Awards are just a few hours away.

The awards show, which airs Wednesday night at 8 p.m. ET, will be broadcast live on MTV, MTV2, BET, BET Her, CMT, CC, Logo, Nickelodeon, Paramount Network, TV Land and VH1. Cord cutters can also tune in to the music-filled evening via a variety of live TV streamers, including DirecTV, Sling TV, Fubo TV and Hulu + Live TV.

The best way to stream the 2024 VMAs live online is through DirecTV, which is currently offering a free trial.

Megan Thee Stallion is hosting the ceremony for the first time this year, which takes place at UBS Arena in New York. The pre-show, hosted by Nessa, Dometi Pongo and Kevan Kenney, begins at 6:30 p.m. ET and will feature a performance by South Korean girl group Le Sserafim.

In addition to her hosting duties, the rapper will also perform at the ceremony, where she is up for five awards for her self-titled album, released in June. Her nominations include best collaboration for “Wanna Be” and best hip-hop, best direction, best visual effects and best art direction for “Boa.”

But the question on everyone’s mind: Will Taylor Swift attend the 2024 VMAs? The singer most likely won’t perform or host at this year’s ceremony, but it’s likely she’ll be in attendance to celebrate her top 10 nominations. That also means Travis Kelce will likely make an appearance.

Swift will compete against Beyoncé’s “Texas Hold ‘Em,” Jack Harlow’s “Lovin On Me,” Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us,” Sabrina Carpenter’s “Espresso” and Teddy Swim’s “Lose Control.”

Contestants competing for the title of Artist of the Year include Ariana Grande, Bad Bunny, Eminem, Sabrina Carpenter, SZA and Swift.
