Lisa Marie’s parents separated in 1972, when she was just four years old, and the couple finalized their divorce a year later. Lisa Marie would split time with her mother in Los Angeles and her father in Memphis.

After her father’s death, Lisa Marie became one of the heirs to the Presley fortune, along with her grandfather Vernon Presley and grandmother Minnie Mae Presley. After Vernon’s death in 1979 and Minnie Mae’s death in 1980, Lisa Marie became her father’s sole heir. She officially inherited Presley’s estate in 1993, when she turned 25, and later sold 85% of the estate in 2004.

Following Lisa Marie’s death on January 12, 2023, actress/filmmaker Riley Keough – the eldest of Lisa Marie’s three daughters – is the sole administrator of the late mother’s estate and owner of Graceland, the Memphis mansion purchased by the King of Rock. n’Roll in 1957.
