How much did Tennessee pay Kent State for a huge loss at Neyland Stadium?

According to USA TODAY Sports, Tennessee paid Kent State $1.35 million to play at Neyland Stadium on Saturday.

The Vols set a program record for points in a modern-era game with a fourth-quarter field goal to reach 71. The previous record was 70, set by UT against Louisiana-Monroe on Sept. 23, 2000.

The Vols took a 65-0 lead in the first half and scored nine touchdowns on nine drives against the Golden Eagles in the highest-scoring half in Tennessee history.

Running back Dylan Sampson had four rushing touchdowns. DeSean Bishop added two. Backup quarterback Gaston Moore threw two touchdowns in the second quarter.
