Elliott ran 10 times for 40 yards with a touchdown and added two catches for 9 yards in the upset victory.

Elliott’s touchdown, a 3-yard run, was his first in a Cowboys uniform since scoring in Week 17 against the Tennessee Titans during the 2022 NFL season.

The Cowboys’ running back room came under a lot of criticism early in the season, with some calling it the worst running back room in the NFL.

In their first game of the season, the Cowboys rushed 24 times for 103 yards (4.3 yards per attempt) with one rushing touchdown as a team.
