High temperatures will continue in parts of Nebraska on Thursday

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – Above-average temperatures will continue to linger in parts of Nebraska Thursday and Friday. A large storm system will move into the Plains late Friday and Saturday evening, bringing cooler temperatures and a strong chance of rain Saturday and Sunday.

Thursday afternoon will be mostly sunny, windy and warm with highs between 80 and 90 degrees. South winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.

Mostly clear and cooler Thursday night into Friday morning. Low temperatures across the state will be in the 40s and 50s.
