Cheney criticized Trump as a “threat to our republic,” citing Trump’s attempt to overturn the 2020 election.

The former vice president’s endorsement follows an interview his daughter gave to The Texas Tribune on Friday in which she said her father would vote for Harris.

Liz said during an appearance at Duke University on Wednesday that she will vote for Harris. She also cited the “danger that Donald Trump poses” as a reason for her endorsement.
