    ESPN analyst calls on FSU Football to change quarterback

    The Florida State Seminoles have officially begun their home campaign in Tallahassee. Just like in Ireland, things are far from ideal for the Seminoles.

    With Boston College leading 14-6 at halftime, it’s clear the Seminoles will need some major adjustments for the second half. The most significant adjustment at halftime could be personnel changes, particularly at the quarterback position.

    In 27 pass attempts, quarterback DJ Uiagalelei has completed just 11 passes (41 percent), including three consecutive missed shots to the end zone late in the second quarter on what could have been a game-winning drive, as well as an interception early in the third quarter.

    While there are issues on both sides of the team, Uiagalelei’s inconsistency over the past two weeks has raised a lot of questions. And regardless of his valuable experience over the past four years, maybe it’s time for redshirt freshman Brock Glenn to take over the quarterback position?

    ESPN analyst and 12-year NFL veteran Dan Orlovsky thinks so. Just before halftime, Orlovsky posted on X: “FSU needs to make a QB change.”

    While he doesn’t have the same level of experience as Uiagalelei, Glenn started two games for the Seminoles last season in the ACC Championship and the Orange Bowl. In his five appearances in 2023, Glenn has completed 19 passes on 51 attempts for 229 yards and two interceptions. Additionally, Glenn has rushed for 19 times for 22 yards and one touchdown.
