Elon Musk goes after Taylor Swift after Kamala Harris’ endorsement

“Fine Taylor… you win… I will bear you a child and guard your cats with my life,” Musk wrote in an X message Wednesday morning.

Musk responded to Swift’s recent Instagram post, in which she supported Harris.

The report, which was published Tuesday night, came shortly after Harris concluded her first presidential debate with former President Donald Trump.

“I will be voting for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential election. I am voting for @kamalaharris because she is fighting for the rights and causes that I believe need a warrior to defend,” Swift wrote in her post.

“I think she is a steadfast, talented leader and I believe we can achieve so much more in this country if we are led by calm and not chaos,” she continued, before saying goodbye with the name “Childless Cat Lady.”

The term appeared to be a dig at Trump’s running mate, Sen. J.D. Vance of Ohio, who made comments about childless people during a 2021 interview with Fox News.

Swift is a proud cat owner with no children.

“We are essentially run in this country by the Democrats, by our corporate oligarchs, and by a bunch of childless cat ladies who are unhappy with their own lives and the choices they’ve made, and who want to make the rest of the country unhappy too,” Vance said at the time.

Representatives for Swift and Musk did not immediately respond to requests for comment sent outside regular business hours.

For all that’s relevant, Musk’s relationship with Swift used to be a lot more cozy.

When Swift’s latest album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” became a huge success, Musk was quick to compliment the pop star.

“I’m not quite the target audience, but I’m still pretty impressive!” Musk wrote in an X post on April 29.

But Swift’s support for Musk puts her at odds with Musk, who voiced his support for Trump in July.

Musk has since become an outspoken supporter of the former president, even expressing interest in working for a potential Trump administration.

The erratic billionaire said in a separate post on X on Wednesday that while Harris “exceeded most people’s expectations” during Tuesday’s debate, he still believed Trump was the better candidate.

“But when it comes to achieving goals and not just saying nice words, I firmly believe Trump will do much better,” Musk wrote.
