On September 3rd during the live After the last rose finale, Tran revealed that she and her winner, Devin Strader, had broken up in the short two months between the taping of her finale and the live special. Her heartbreak also came after the groundbreaking Bachelorette, who was the first Asian American lead, became the first female lead ever to propose. During her house arrest in 2023, Delvey spoke about her interest in reality TV while shopping around for an unscripted series that would see her host dinner parties at her home.

The cast and their pros were announced on Good morning America Wednesday morning.

The pairs will be judged by a panel of renowned ballroom experts including Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and Derek Hough. Hosted by Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough, DWTS will be available to watch on ABC and Disney+ starting Tuesday, September 17, and will be available to stream on Hulu the following day.
