Dave Grohl, frontman of the band Foo Fighters and former drummer of Nirvana, admitted that he had a child as a result of an affair.

The 55-year-old has been married to former model Jordyn Blum since 2003. Together they have three children, aged 18, 15 and 10.

On Instagram, Dave released a statement saying, “I recently became a father to a new daughter, born out of wedlock. I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her.”

“I love my wife and my children, and I am committed to earning their trust and forgiveness. We are grateful for your attention to all the children involved as we move forward together,” he continued.

No further details have been released about Dave’s new child.
