Dan Mullen responds to Brian Kelly banging the table and challenging the team

Brian Kelly made headlines for to hit the table with one’s fist during his press conference after LSU lost to USC 27-20 on Sunday night. His frustration was visible as he addressed his team for not focusing on the game in the final phase.

As a former head coach, Dan Mullen knows what it’s like when things don’t go as planned. Given his experience, he weighed in on the viral moment, providing an interesting perspective on Kelly’s postgame intensity.

“Well, if you watch last night’s game, they moved the ball, especially in the first half,” Mullen said on ESPN before the game. Kelly hadn’t even mentioned the game after the game against USC in Vegas. Here’s what he had to say about it.
