Lions head coach Dan Campbell expressed regret Monday night that he didn’t give Jared Goff a game ball after the quarterback completed 18 of 18, passing for 292 yards with two touchdowns and catching a 7-yard touchdown pass.

Campbell told reporters Tuesday that his error has been corrected.

“We found one, Yes, we didCampbell said with a chuckle at his press conference. “Normally I give out a match ball straight away. And normally there’s always one or two that pop up when we do it here, like the day after the game, after a win.

“So it was easy to give it to him.”

Goff had the most passes and yards without an incompletion in NFL history on Monday night, helping the Lions to a 42-29 win over the Seahawks.

Detroit has a bye in Week 5 before heading to Texas to play the Cowboys in Week 6.
