Week 1 has begun and Thursday night is the first preview with 21 college football games.

That includes our first look at Deion Sanders’ Colorado Buffaloes. Coach Prime’s team got off to a hot start last season, capturing the nation’s attention before quickly coming back down to earth. Will this year be any different for the Buffs after bolstering their roster via the transfer portal? They open at home against FCS stalwarts North Dakota State.

  • The Bisons are back on the march, having just passed midfield with just under 3 minutes left in the third quarter.

  • NC State 24, Western Carolina 21

    NC State fans can take a breather. KC Concepcion with a nice 35-yard catch and run touchdown to give the Wolfpack the lead early in the 4th.

    Concepcion scored all three of NC State’s touchdowns.

  • Landing in Colorado!

    It’s Travis Hunter again. The two-way star shakes off his defender and plants his feet in the end zone to put the Buffs back on top.

  • Shedeur Sanders goes deep again to Jimmy Horn for a 44-yard pass and the Buffs are back in the red zone.

  • North Dakota State can’t do anything on the ensuing drive and sends the ball back to Colorado.

  • NDSU interception!

    The Buffs were on their way to score when a fluky deflection falls right into the hands of an NDSU defender for a pick! What a great play from Boulder.

  • We’re back for the second half of Colorado-NDSU and the Buffs approach the end zone after a deep catch by Travis

  • Western Carolina 21, NC State 17

    Branson Adams’ 17-yard TD run helps the Catamounts retake the lead over NC State late in the 3rd quarter. Time to panic for NC State?

  • End of 2nd Quarter: NDSU 20, Colorado 17

    The Buffs got within striking distance of the field goal quickly just before halftime with two deep completions from Shedeur Sanders. Alejandro Mata nailed the short FG just before halftime to cut into the lead, but Colorado still trailed in their home opener.

  • Jalon Daniels is back and he’s doing Jalon Daniels things for the Jayhawks.

  • After a sack on Shedeur Sanders in midfield, Colorado opts to punt instead of going for it this time. With 2:41 left in the first half, NDSU will take over deep in its own territory.

  • Colorado is on the move after another long catch from Jimmy Horn. That’s three catches for 103 yards and a TD already for Horn.

  • NDSU settles for field goal

    The Buffs are finally able to hold the Bison to a 28-yard field goal by Griffin Crosa.

  • NC State Officially Set for Surprise 👀

  • Colorado could have left the field on third down at the end zone, but a late penalty by Shilo Sanders kept the drive alive for NDSU.

  • Colorado Gives Up on Downs

    The Buffs go for it on fourth down at their own 35 yard line, but THEY DON’T GET IT!

  • Landing NDSU!

    The Bison were methodical on that drive and got some help with a crucial offsides call on Colorado. Ultimately, it’s NDSU QB Cam Miller who sprints around the corner for a 7-yard TD.

  • Arkansas looks pretty comfortable in its first game against UA-Pine Bluff:
