It took more than three games, but the Colorado Buffaloes have finally scored their first rushing touchdown of the 2024 season.

After a pass interference call set up the Buffs’ offense at Baylor’s 2-yard line, CU quarterback Shedeur Sanders faked a handoff to freshman running back Micah Welch before taking it himself. The first-quarter score gave Colorado an early 7-3 lead over the Bears, who quickly answered with a touchdown drive of their own.

At the time of writing, Baylor leads the Buffs 10-7 on a rainy Saturday night at Folsom Field.
