College Football Week 2 Scores, Fixtures: Colorado vs. Nebraska, Tennessee vs. NC State and More

The first top 10 race of the season was a big defeat, but on Saturday we still got our first big surprise of the season.

No. 5 Notre Dame was crushed 16-14 at home by Northern Illinois. The Huskies went down for a 35-yard field goal by Kanon Woodill with just over 30 seconds left in the game, then blocked the Irish’s own attempt to win it as time expired.

In Saturday’s key showdown, No. 3 Texas left no doubt as to which team would take on No. 10 Michigan, defeating the Wolverines 31-12 in the Big House.

Elsewhere, Kansas State survived a controversial game against Tulane and Oklahoma State came back to beat Arkansas in double overtime.

Below are the best games left. Scroll down to follow all the action live.

Time: 7:30pm ET | TV: NBC | Line: Nebraska -6.5 | Total: 55.5

The Huskers showed some serious signs of life in Week 1, as true freshman QB Dylan Raiola made a fantastic college debut. Colorado struggled to put away North Dakota State, but got excellent performances from two-way star Travis Hunter and quarterback Shedeur Sanders.

The crowd in Lincoln will undoubtedly be in raptures and the match promises to be a spectacle.

Time: 7:30pm ET | TV: ABC | Line: Tennessee -9.5 | Total: 60.5

Both teams had wins over FCS opponents in Week 1, but they were drastically different. NC State struggled mightily against Western Carolina. Tennessee crushed Chattanooga and quickly made it clear that the Mocs had no chance.

Given Tennessee’s offensive passing game, NC State’s chances depend on a better defense than it did in Week 1.

Time: 10:00pm ET | TV: Peacock | Line: Oregon -19.5 | Total: 61.5

Both teams had a tougher time than expected against their opponents in Week 1. Boise State needed a 21-point run to eliminate Georgia Southern and Oregon effortlessly beat Idaho 24-14.

Ashton Jeanty passed for 267 yards and six touchdowns in the Broncos’ opener, and he’ll certainly be a focal point for Oregon’s defense. New Oregon QB Dillon Gabriel was 41-of-49 passing in Week 1, but averaged just 7.6 yards per attempt.
