Chargers beat Raiders, give Jim Harbaugh debut win

The Chargers started on their seven-yard line.

Gus Edwards ran for three yards. Justin Herbert then passed to Ladd McConkey for five yards. On third-and-two, JK Dobbins ran for two yards and the first down.

The Chargers called a timeout to avoid delaying the game.

Dobbins ran for seven yards. On the next play, Dobbins ran to the pile and then bounced left and up the field for a gain of 61 yards.

On first down at the Raiders’ 14-yard line, the Raiders called a timeout with 3:57 left on the clock.

Gus Edwards ran three yards to the Raiders’ 11-yard line.

The Raiders then called a timeout with 3:51 left on the clock.

Herbert handed the ball to Ladd McConkey, who evaded a tackle and scored a 10-yard touchdown.

The Chargers attempted a two-point conversion and the Raiders easily stopped Edwards.

After the play, a shove ensued outside the end zone and there were compensatory penalties for both teams. The sequence was reviewed by officials in New York.

Joshua Palmer and Jack Jones were sent off after the judging.
