Chappell Roan is trolled for her comments on ‘personal space’

Chappell Roan is being harassed over her ‘privacy’ comment

Chappell Roan is indirectly mocked by comedian Bowen Yang in the premiere of Saturday evening live’50th season.

According to VarietyBowen played the character of Moo Deng, a two-month-old pygmy hippopotamus, during one of the segments.

During the role, his character drew parallels with the Pink Pony Club singer, referring to her recent online rant in which she set boundaries for “certain” things related to her “personal space.”

The comedian, dressed as Moo Deng, discussed the challenges of “sudden fame,” “mental health” and joked that his character “won’t get endorsements in this year’s elections.”

In short, he reflected Chappell’s recent decisions and statements she made online.

At one point, even host Colin Jost noted, “Your life has been looking a lot like Chappell Roan’s lately. Do you know Chappell Roan?

To which the Bowen jokingly replied: ‘I’m ten weeks old, Colin, of course I know Chappell Roan. By the way, leave her alone. Let her take as much time as she needs for her mental health.”

His latest appearance focused on the 26-year-old singer’s recent cancellation announcement All things go festival performances because they feel overwhelmed.

The Good luck, honey! singer wrote on her Instagram Story: “I need a few days to prioritize my health.”

Additionally, Chappell plans to make her own movie Saturday evening live debut in November where she will perform as musical guest.
