Caitlin Clark Shows Love for Boyfriend Connor McCaffery After WNBA Honor

When it comes to her latest achievement, Caitlin Clark Thank you Connor McCaffery for the assist.

After receiving the WNBA’s Rookie of the Year award, the Indiana Fever player reflected on her first professional season with a sweet nod to her boyfriend.

“Throwback to draft day,” Caitlin — who started dating Connor in April 2023 — wrote in an Oct. 3 Instagram Story alongside a photo of the couple cuddling. “I’m lucky.”

For his part, Connor reshared his girlfriend’s sweet message and also added another post celebrating Caitlin’s milestone to his own Instagram Story.

Caitlin’s first season in the WNBA was a hit, averaging 19 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists per game. And the judges knew it: the 22-year-old received 66 out of 67 first-place votes from the panels of writers and broadcasters that decided the feat (Chicago Sky Player Angel Reese received one first-place nod), according to NBC News.

But despite her own success, Caitlin Connor has continued to grill Connor about his own performance during her rookie season.
