Bengals must beat Commanders Monday Night Football

Joe Buck, ABC/ESPN’s live reporter for the Cincinnati Bengals’ Week 3 NFL game against the Washington Commanders on Monday Night Football, told ESPN anchor Scott Van Pelt that he considers the game a “must-win” for Cincinnati after an 0-2 start to the season. He understands why the Bengals are favored to win.

Buck and Troy Aikman predicted the Bengals’ overtime victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars last December.

“I don’t feel panic,” Buck said. “Yeah, it’s been there, it’s done. It’s kind of crazy for all the talent they have and the head coach they have and to be 0-2 again? And for Zac Taylor, five times in six years? It’s just crazy. I don’t know how they lost to the Patriots. They did. They could have easily won that game last week in Kansas City. They didn’t. And so here they are. But I mean, they only play 17 of these games. And they can’t just go 0-3. So I expect them to play great tonight. They expect to play well. We’ll talk to Joe Burrow later tonight about the wrist injury. But this is a game they have to win and they have to win.”
